We collect data about your visitors including IP address, referring URL, visits to the site, and geolocation data such as city, state, country, useragent, and device as well as information about within your news content if shortlinks are utilized, time spent on page, and unique or repeat visits in order to understand more about your campaign.

IP addresses are never publicly revealed but used to determine the aforementioned information.

Tracking visitor analytics is through maedia.co and maedia.page with our CDN analytics with visits to any of your pages in order to gather this data to display for your data usage. We do not sell this information, but use it for educational and informative purposes.

In addition to our CDN service, we use Geolocation by geoPlugin to decipher data of your users by IP address.

Payments

We use a third-party payment processor, Stripe, to charge your payment method for usage of this service. We do not retain any payment information on our servers.

Early Bird Access

A discount is offered at the time of registration and will not be available any other time. Your account must remain on a subscription plan to continue the benefits of the Early Bird Special. You may choose to revert to a monthly plan after the yearly plan is completed, but you will be unable to restore your early bird plan at a later date.
This process is irreversible.

Refunds

We do not offer any refunds but you may cancel your service at any time. All services will continue until your term is up and will simply not renew.

Account Data

Any creative works or news produced by you, saved, and published are stored on our CDN and geo-replicated throughout a global distribution network so it is available on servers across the world including Los Angeles, New York/New Jersey, San Paulo, Stockholm, London, Falkenstein, Singapore, and Sydney for fastest content delivery and availability.

Unsubscription will disable access to certain features but any published works will remain. When it comes to an account deletion request, we do our best to comply with GDPR standards but will not remove any of your published works from the maedia platform. You will need to remove these manually. If you delete your account without removing your published works, they will remain indefinitely and you will not be able to access this data in the future.

The security of your data is important to us and we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data. In an effort to ensure you maintain complete control of your data, we allow you to the Right To Be Forgotten in which you may, at any time, delete all of your data from our servers.
